I've decided that I'm going to buy a .223 next. Still haven't quite decided which one - but thanks to some great input from my friends in GBC the Remington 700 is moving to the top of the list.
But what about you - what gun is next on your "to buy" list ...

Currently, I'm planning on getting the Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm pistol. After that, I'm getting a .45 ACP of some variant (M&P, XD, or a 1911 clone).
Once the pistols are out of the way, I'll start looking at rifles.
Oh, and I want a new barrel for my Mossberg 500. Right now, it has a 28" barrel on it, and I want to get the 18" as well.
Probably a Smith & Wesson model 64 revolver, used. If I can find one, a Smith & Wesson model 642 revolver without the stupid security lock.
Rossi Ranch Hand in .44...OR a Beretta CX4 Storm. i've checked off the "need to buy" guns, so i'm working on the "for shits and giggles" guns.
a PTR 91 a copy of the HK91 in 308, which is likely something they don't sell down there
I really need to fill the shotgun sized hole in my arsenal.
Merlin, how do you like the Mossberg, and is there any particular reason you chose that instead the Remington 870?
Old Windways - It's a great shotgun. I've not shot it much as it's a tad unwieldy with that longer barrel on it. I'm not a clay/skeet/trap guy (yet), and I don't birdhunt (again, yet). I've got it primarily as a home-defense/varmint gun for now. That's why I want the shorter barrel for it.
As for why I chose it over an 870? Cost, pure and simple. I got the 500 for free :-D
My other half and I have a few Mossbergs, as well, Windways. My other half is a lefty, and Remingtons aren't lefty-friendly. Mossys are.
I plan to get a nitro-burning muzzle-loading revolver, unless either a French 1886M93 or Berthier rifle in shootable condition turns up first.
Another stripped lower (registered weapon) for another AR build. Like I really need another.
Both the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500 are fine shotguns. The Remmie is used by American police nationwide, whereas the Mossy is used by the US Army and possibly other Armed Forces.
The biggest difference between the two is that the Mossy has a fixed magazine and an ambidextrous safety, whereas the Remmie can easily have its magazine increased but is not left-hand friendly.
As for my next gun, I really want a semi-auto rifle in the 30 caliber range.
I have a Rem700 in .223. It's the Varmit version, laminated wood stock, grayed barrel instead of chrome or blued.
On a calm day, with my 18x scope, I can put 5 rounds into a 2" circle at 200 yards. I have hit p-dogs at over 250 yards.
A very nice accurate rifle. It is very important to properly break-in the barrel, though, if you want that accuracy.
Remmy 700 IS the way to go! :-) I don't really 'need' anything, except ammo :-0
Surprisingly I don't have a .22LR in the collection. Next is a Ruger 10/22 breakdown rifle.
Probably a 22/45 or a new shotgun. Or a new revolver, or a new hunting rifle or......
lots of different guns there guys ... and thanks for the comments and info on the Remmy 700. I'm thinking of going polymer stock ...
What I really WANT(and have about zero chance of affording) is a S&W K-32 Target Masterpiece; want it bad.
