so more waiting! BUT the operation should be performed within 3 months. So hopefully not too much more waiting.

Waiting list?
Not to dump on ya, but health care should be a personal choice, not mandated by government.
A couple of months ago, I was told I needed surgery. I went to a surgeon for a 2nd opinion and he said, "Yep, ya need it fixed."
"When?" I asked.
He checked his calendar on his phone and said, "How about next Wednesday at 8AM? I can do it day after tomorrow but I'd have to find a different anesthesiologist. My usual one is busy."
I told him next Wednesday was fine.
Y'all need some changes down there.
At least you have a time frame to work with, instead of some vague "someday". Thoughts and prayers continue!

Great News Julie at least His name is on a list I hope you are all doing ok other then Hubby's Hip problem ..you won't be able to keep up with Him after the surgery LOL Love to you all
Crucis we can "go private" but the waiting list is only marginally shorter ...
We did then when my hubby had a back operation about 15 years ago - it took close on 6 months to get in a see the surgeon (this was privately funded) and then another couple of weeks to get an appointment.
Thanks everyone - just knowing that "he's on the list" really helps.
